God looked around his garden and found an empty place He then looked down upon this earth and saw your tired face He put his arms around you and lifted you to rest God’s garden must be beautiful He always takes the best He knew that you were suffering He knew you were in pain He knew that you would never get well on earth again He saw that the road was getting rough and the hills are hard to climb So he closed your weary eyelids and whispered, “Peace be thine” It broke our hearts to lose you But you didn’t go alone For part of us went with you The day God called you home

It broke my heart to lose you, But you did not go alone Part of me went with you, the day God called you home. A million times I've thought of you A million times I've cryed If loving could have saved you You would have never died Forgive me Lord, I'll always weep For the husband I loved but could not keep.

Dad, Jaunita and John

I will always love you Jack
Your wife, Minga

Right now I'm in a different place And though we seem apart I'm closer than I ever was ... I'm there inside your heart
I'm with you when you greet each day And while the sun shines bright I'm there to share the sunsets, too ... I'm with you every night
I'm with you when the times are good To share a laugh or two, And if a tear should start to fall ... I'll still be there for you
And when that day arrives That we no longer are apart, I'll smile and hold you close to me ... Forever in my heart

THE BROKEN CHAIN
We little knew that morning that God was going to call your name,
In life we loved you dearly, in death we do the same.
It broke our hearts to lose you, you did not go alone,
For part of us went with you, the day God called you home.
You left us peaceful memories, your love is still our guide,
And though we cannot see you, you are always at our side.
Our family chain is broken, and nothing seems the same,
But as God calls us one by one, the chain will link again.

If Tears Could Build A Stairway Author: Unknown If tears could build a stairway, and memories a lane. I would walk right up to Heaven and bring you back again.
No farewell words were spoken, No time to say "Goodbye". You were gone before I knew it, and only God knows why.
My heart still aches with sadness, and secret tears still flow. What it meant to love you - No one can ever know.
But now I know you want me to mourn for you no more; To remember all the happy times life still has much in store.
Since you'll never be forgotten, I pledge to you today~ A hollowed place within my heart is where you'll always stay.

Dad ( by Judy Burnette ) Contact Judy Burnette
Dad...so many images come to mind whenever I speak your name; It seems without you in my life things have never been the same.
What happened to those lazy days when I was just a child; When my life was consumed in you in your love, and in your smile.
What happened to all those times when I always looked to you; No matter what happened in my life you could make my gray skies blue.
Dad, some days I hear your voice and turn to see your face; Yet in my turning...it seems the sound has been erased.
Dad, who will I turn to for answers when life does not make sense; Who will be there to hold me close when the pieces just don't fit.
Oh, Dad, if I could turn back time and once more hear your voice; I'd tell you that out of all the dads you would still be my choice.
Please always know I love you and no one can take your place; Years may come and go but your memory will never be erased.
Today, Jesus, as You are listening in your home above; Would you go and find my dad and give him all my love.

Just a Breath Away
Look for me in springtime As raindrops fill the air In the splendor of the rainbow You’ll find my presence there.
You will find me in the fragrance Of April’s sweet perfume Drifting through the clover On a sultry day in June.
An August day will find me Upon the summer breeze On the distant sound of the thunder In the gently swaying trees.
In the golden fields of harvest Is where I can be found. As autumn time approaches And leaves comes tumbling down
In the wintertime when days are short And chill is in the air Just look into a moonlit night You’ll find me lingering there.
When the setting sun has gone away And shadows fill the night When the cloak of darkness lifts its veil I’ll be your morning light.
So when you feel discouraged Get on your knees and pray You’ll feel me there beside you I’m just a breath away.

When Tomorrow Starts Without Me ( David Romano )
When tomorrow starts without me and I'm not here to see... If the sun should rise and find your eyes filled with tears for me,
I wish so much you wouldn't cry the way you did today... While thinking of the many things we didn't get to say.
I know how much you love me, as much as I love you... And each time you think of me, I know you'll miss me, too.
But when tomorrow starts without me, please try to understand... That Jesus came and called my name and took me by the hand,
And said my place was ready in heaven far above... And that I'd have to leave behind all those I dearly love.
So when tomorrow starts without me, don't think we're far apart... For every time you think of me, I'm right here in your heart.

Light a Candle
Light a candle for those we mourn.
Into a new life they will be born.
Do not look for them at the gravesite.
They are somewhere else radiating their beautiful light.
They have gone to a new world where there is no darkness, no pain.
Their light and essence will always remain.
Light a candle for those who have left this mortal place.
They are free to travel through time and space.
When we think of them, they are near.
When we sit in a beautiful garden. Their voices we hear.
When we listen to a divine symphony,
We close our eyes, their faces we see.
Light a candle for they have not really gone.
With each flickering flame, in your hearts they will always belong.

A Heavenly Home
A world beyond this earthly home There dwells another place A point beyond the moon and stars And somewhere lost in space.
A place where heavenly angels sing With flowing robes of white A place amongst the rainbows And radiant beams of light.
A place where peace and love is found Before the throne of God A place where splendid streets are paved And saintly prophets trod.
A place where darkness never comes Where everything is new A place that glows with holy light And shines the whole day through.
A place that has no tears to dry There is no hurt or pain A place for us to praise our Lord And never die again.
A place that boasts of mansions high Mine eyes will soon behold A place where Jesus calls to me And waits on streets of gold.
